To begin this session, the day after 9/11 an aspiration by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche was read, with discussion about the nature of mind, wisdom and compassion. We discussed the Four Immeasurable minds of loving kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Instruction was given on working with the breath as the basis of practicing mindfulness, then non-dual awareness as the basis of kindness/compassion practice. We concluded dedicating the benefit of the session to all beings.
